Welcome to the web’s first, only and ultimate online content resource focused on the Dodge Dart Swinger – a Classic American Muscle Car.
What is the Swinger? – The Swinger was a highly successful model trim of the popular Dodge Dart nameplate produced during the 1960s and 1970s. The Swinger was first introduced during the 4th generation of the Dodge Dart (1967-1976). Although the Dart (and Plymouth Valiant) was heavily remodeled for the 1967 model year, it was not until 1969 when the Swinger 2 door hardtop and Swinger 340 was added to the lineup. Later Dodge (Chrysler) would add the Swinger Special before discontinuing the entire Dart nameplate in 1976, despite commercial success and consumer popularity.
For more details about the Swinger including a brief model year history and specifications see our Swinger Review Page.
